Istanbul
(I apologize in advance for the picture overload, I didn't managed to extract less)
Istanbul, a city that connects Europe and Asia, is one of the largest cities in Turkey with a population of about 11 million. I can say that it is quite large, and it seems to me that i'l would need forever to explore it all. But the main things I've seen and visited, I enjoyed myself and learned all sorts of things, I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't been, and I hope I will visit again the great Constantinople :)

Plava džamija
The Blue Mosque
Shoes off mandatory, we wore shoes in the bag with us, beautiful mosques, although much smaller than the Haghia Sophia, I like this more because of its six minarets instead of the usual 4

916 years ago was a church, mosque 481 years, today is a museum and an important architectural monument. It is so big that Temple of Saint Sava would fit inside with no problem

Topkapi Palace

Dolmabahce Palace
Later as the residence of the Sultan and the President of the Republic of Turkey. For me the most beautiful building I've seen out there, unfortunately we were not allowed to photograph inside, but I managed to sneak some pics of the interior.
This is, seems to me, one of the largest chandeliers in the world, says a gift of Queen to the Sultan, this room has 2000m2, and this rug has 124m2. It's bigger than most of our apartments, yes. Although it does not seem much big up close ...

E ovde sam potrošila skoro sav novac koji sam ponela. Prave izvorne turske stvari.
Here I spent almost all the money I brought with me. The real source of the Turkish stuff. Leather, jewelry, souvenirs, copies... A bunch of hallways full of goods and smiling Turks who are always willing to talk and bargain. I came back here twice. It was worth it.
Maybe someone recognizes these masks from Iphone mask blog, there cost about 50e, and here we are looking for 20e, and I did not even want to bargen, who knows to what price will come ....

I just walked sadly through H&M, as I have previously spent all the money, but do not worry, H&M arrives to us in the fall :)

Turske mačke su me posebno oduševile, sve su debele i mazne. Nadam se da sam bar malo dočarala Istanbul onako kako sam ga ja doživela
Turkey cats are especially delighted me, all fat and cuddly. I hope I have at least a little conjured Istanbul as I experienced it myself
